New Republic 新共和国

The New Republic (4 ABY–28 ABY), sometimes referred as the New Galactic Republic, the Second Galactic Republic or simply as the Republic, was a democratic union that served as the restoration of the Galactic Republic that was replaced by the Galactic Empire, with the New Republic being established by the Rebel Alliance. The New Republic was referred to politically as being a union of planets, a confederation or a coalition. Chief of State was the title of the leader of the New Republic, while the New Republic Senate included senators representing the various member worlds across the galaxy. The Combined Defense Forces of the New Republic were the integrated military forces charged with the defense of the New Republic. The New Republic was protected by the New Jedi Order, which was established by Luke Skywalker, just as the Old Republic was once protected by the Jedi Order of old.
