Jonathan Carnahan was the son of Howard Carnahan, the brother of Evelyn O'Connell, the brother-in-law of Rick O'Connell and the uncle of Alexander O'Connell. A clever man with an eye for treasure and wealth, Jonathan accompanied his sister and brother-in-law on digs and explorations from time-to-time, often causing some problems for others.
